It was a good day

This past weekend was quite emotionally draining for me. (I'll probably give you details another time) So I have been dreading school and work and being around people because as I learned in my Philosophy/Critical thinking/who knows what we are supposed to be learning class I am an introvert and I can be around people but I need to be alone to recharge my batteries. Anyway so yesterday I went to work and I was training an extern we had which was not something I wanted to be doing but it was fine she was a lovely woman and we got along and laughed the whole day. I felt like I was talking A LOT to the point that my face was hurting. Haha weird...? But my FAVORITE mom came in. Oh my gosh it made me so happy to see her. This time she brought me chocolate too. She was handing it to me and said "If you tell me you're allergic to chocolate I don't know what I'll do." But it was funny she just wanted to tell me how amazing I am. Then she talked about how her sons are healthy so she won't be coming for a while and how she was sad. We talked about ways to get them sick so she'll have to come back :) I told her a simpler solution would have been for her to have children 4 years earlier. Her oldest is 18 and she was trying so hard to convince me to date him telling me he doesn't look 18, he doesn't go to the pediatrics doctor anymore haha but she is such a great woman and I hope she comes around more. Good news is she has 3 more years until her youngest is 18 so I have three more years of seeing her.

My phone's so smart!

I was talking to my friend via text about going to see The Vow tomorrow (SO EXCITED) and we already bought tickets but we were discussing what time to get there... And well...the rest is self explanatory...

R E S P E C T tell you what it means to me

There are two ways to make me happy... it makes living with anyone easier actually. Here are my rules or roommateship

1. don't wake up your roommate- in the morning, at night, during the night, ever
2. let them sleep- don't make noise just let them sleep if they're trying to sleep

Cast your vote!

Note: I don't take good pictures...
Currently I am debating coloring my hair, this is about the time of year that I start to get really depressed and need to change something and my hair is the easiest thing to change...
I don't know if it's seasonal depression but I am really feeling extra emo with dark dark hair, it hasn't lightened up and I feel like even my natural color was happier than this dark black brown stuff I have going on up on top. SO here's the debate color it lighter and blonder OR just stay emo... I won't color it for a while probably... I have to wait until I have money and yeah...that's not happening soon.

So long...

Last week's battle cry is this week's surrender...

This week's song

Weekend Fun

This weekend I needed a little stress relief so I went to the fabric store and bought 5 different kinds of fabric. I

didn't know exactly what I would be making but I knew I needed to make something cute I would be proud of. Due to homework I only made one thing this weekend but I think it's incredibly adorable!

What do you think?

Also this weekend Jessie and I were alone in the apartment which was...fun. But we decided to invite people over for dinner. We have been hanging out with these boys in our ward for a while and our neighbor had joined in our fun. Last weekend we did a puzzle. This weekend we did another! It was one of the Disney puzzles my family has had for forever and it was so fast and so fun. It's nice to use my brain in a different way. Sunday while they were over we also played guitar for a while and had fun goofing off and singing. It made me decide to find someone that enjoys music like I do as my future hubby.

Idona (I have no idea how to spell his name...) is a recent convert from Hati...oh great story about him... Rigdon, Melanie and Lundy with out Snow White puzzle...

Idona (ee-doe-nuh) is from Hati and moved into the house across the street from me. Like I said earlier Ridgon and Lundy have been spending a lot of time at our apartment. A couple weekends ago they were over and there was a knock at the door. I hate answering the door and ignored it until someone said "um...are you going to answer that...?" SO I answered the door and it was the sister missionaries...oops. So they came in and told us they were teaching someone that just moved in across the street from us. Lundy is our ward mission leader and Rigdon is a ward missionary (talk about luck sisters!) They talked to the missionaries about the person they were teaching and found out he's from Hati and speaks Hatian Creole and French. Lucky for the missionaries Lundy also speaks French! So Lundy went with them to meet Idona and teach him. Idona was baptized the weekend after. How coooool! They must have been inspired to knock on our door not the one next to us. Love it!

The Little Things

Tuesday I hurt my wrist. I kept it on ice for the majority of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Yesterday I was in so much pain I could barely grip anything. When I tried to type I just had to wince. This weekend I have major homework in all but one class and all of it involves typing. I was stressing over how I was going to get it all done with one typing hand... this morning I woke up and although my wrist is still pretty sore it isn't half as bad as it was before and typing doesn't hurt as bad.

Yay for getting homework done.

Let's discuss a quote

“A guy out there was meant to be the love of your life, your best friend, your soulmate, the one you can tell your dreams to. He’ll brush the hair out of your eyes. Send you flowers when you least expect it. He’ll stare at you during the movies, even though he paid eight dollars to see it. He’ll call you to say goodnight or just because he is missing you. He’ll look in your eyes + tell you ‘you’re the most beautiful girl in the world’ & for the first time in your life, you’ll believe it.” —Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks is a romantic (obviously haven't you read/seen any of his books/movies) ...There have been points in my life where I have gotten these things and they were some good times... I want the good times back....

And enjoy this song since it popped into my head after writing that sentence...
