So I don't know. I've decided I want to get to know everyone in the ward. I mean there are only 75 people so it's not a big deal. I think it would be fun to know everyone's name and a little bit about them. But I don't know if that will happen. I kinda decided to do it because...well let me tell you a little story.
Once upon a time there was a girl name Abby she lived at Raintree Apartments. She moved in in August 2008. She loved living there and she loved the ward. Abby was a quiet girl and never really spoke out much. One Sunday in May 2009 there were lots of new "Summer People" so the Sunday School teacher decided to set aside some get to know you time. Abby introduced herself to a nice girl that was sitting next to her named Maddy. Then Larry, a boy that many young girls think is quite handsome introduced himself to her. A week later Abby went back to Sunday School. Once again she was sitting next to Larry (Total coincidence Abby doesn't find Larry attractive like all the other girls do.) Larry leaned over and said "Hey I'm Larry what's your name" Abby said "....Abby..." Mimi, Abby's beautiful roommate said "She's lived here longer than you have" Larry looked a little puzzled. Abby said "And you introduced yourself to me last week...." Larry ended the conversation and turned to another girl. This left Abby feeling very sad. She felt invisible a little like no one actually knew who she was. Abby made it through the rest of church with this sad feeling looming over her. That night Abby went to a fun game night where she talked to people and got a little more out of her box. After the game night came ward prayer. After ward prayer we had our usual mingle around and talk. Abby was approached by a familiar face but instead of saying "Hi Abby" she was greeted with "Hi I'm Maddy who are you?" "Abby...." Abby replied. "Oh maybe that's why people have been calling me Abby!" Maddy said. "yeah maybe...."Abby quietly said. Abby then returned to her apartment once again feeling invisible and easily forgotten.
So yeah... I don't want others to feel bad because I forget their names because I now know...it sucks when you feel invisible. ...Majorly sucks.
PS Happy Mothers Day.

Miami
So I went to Miami...If you want to know about it read my sister Lauren's blog. http://laurenandaaron.blogspot.com/
It was a really good trip and we took a billion pictures. So pretty much it's just a bunch of pictures but you can get a feel of the whole trip from it.

Easter
So this Easter season my roommates and I decided to have egg tossing fun in our apartment. It was simply amazing. Here are some pictures and videos from our fun.
UH-MAZE-ING
Yeah so I'm pretty sure this is the best movie you've ever seen on a blog...well maybe Mel's nephew tops it with his "shirt" comments.(here's that link http://yepthesearethedays.blogspot.com/) :-) But tonight was our ward closing social. It was really great we had pizza and cookies and then we had some great entertainment. Melissa and I sang "I Need a Man" The song Lauren G Channel and I sang last year at the ward talent show. It was pretty much amazing and I just thought you guys would want to see it too. I know you'll all love it. :-)
If you can't understand it here are the lyrics
I Need A Man
Look at my smile; isn't it great?
Wouldn't you think that I'd have a date?
Lookin' at me, yeah, you'd think,
"She's got everything."
Look at my clothes; look at my face.
Just once I'd like to go to a nice place.
Fast-food and dollar matinees
They're not everything.
I've got hairspray and makeup aplenty;
I've used toothpaste and mouthwash galore.
Wanna go Dutch? I've got a twenty.
But who cares? No big deal; I want more.
I wanna be where the elders are.
I want one for my eternal companion
One who's not afraid of...
What's that word again? Oh...commitment.
In institute class you don't get too far;
Dates are required for real romancin'.
Hopin' for an engagement...
What's the word again? Ring!
A guy who is fun, a guy who is cute,
A guy who would look real good in a suit.
I'm really great; why don't I date?
I need a man!
What would I give if I could live in Salt Lake City?
What would I pay to spend a day on temple grounds?
Betcha they'd call if they weren't all just so intimidated.
Bright young maiden-sick of waitin'-
Ready for more!
And ready to know what the couples know.
Ask'em my questions and get some answers.
What is a gentleman and why is he...
What's the word? Extinct!
Why can't they think and see me now?
I am a woman worth more than eight cows!!
I'm really great; why don't I date?
I NEED A MAN!!

Just a thought
Today I just wanted to say I am very thankful for my roommates. It's been so great having them. They were good for my first roommates. I'm so glad we all got along and I'm so thankful for all of our exciting adventures since we've been together. I'd just like to post some pictures that we've taken throughout our time together

Our first group picture and Lynds was missing. This was Carrie's 21's birthday
Yeah Cassie and I before we got to know each other... I know we look AWKWARD
Our first roommate date
Our second roommate date
Roommate pictures!
Third roommate date. We made sugar cookies

The Sound of Music distracted me... sorry it's lame.
So I don't know why I don't blog more. I guess it's just because I don't think anyone actually reads it so why should I put the time in when no one is going to read it. But my life over the past little while...
Lauren turned 21! So what better way to celebrate than a non-alcoholic bar? So we went to Spark. As usual it was delicious.
My cousin Emily got married this March. She looked beautiful as always. Jonathan came as my surprise date. You all know Jonathan went on his mission to Bend and that's where we met so when he was free for the weekend I invited him to Emily's wedding. My parents ended up guessing who my date was just because I apparently suck at lying. They enjoyed talking to him. He is way smart he was talking to Dad about stuff I had no clue about. But it was a beautiful wedding here are some pictures

My parents came home for that weekend because Claytin was blessed that Sunday. It's crazy he's gettin so big! After the blessing we went back to Brendan and Dahlia's for some food. We have family and friends show up. Clay is a very loved child.
I also went to the Festival of Colors. It is pretty much so amazing. Here's some information about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holi I can't really explain it. But it's really cool. None of us had ever gone so for our first time. We decided to make shirts I think they were pretty sweet. Carrie's brother Tyler came too. It was way fun. I don't even know what to say about it other then it being amazing.

This is a video of us shaking out our hair.

Homesick again.
I don't understand why I still get so homesick. I really miss my family a lot. Almost most of the time. I don't even know why. I've lived here for 9 months. I thought I would be happy if I moved out and got on with my life but apparently I was wrong because all I've wanted to do is move back home. I'm so glad my parents are coming this weekend. I just wish I could go back with them and stay there.
